English mastery beyond the tech level

High-quality English training

for individuals and teams

in the tech sector

My story

I believe English should support your life and your growth, not just your job.

When I started working with tech professionals, I thought my job was just to help with technical English for their jobs and daily tasks.

That all changed when two clients told me about a simple issue they had at a hotel. They didn't have "enough English" to explain the problem, and it took 30 frustrating minutes to solve a 5-minute situation.

At that moment, I realised one thing: technical English is only half the story.

Sometimes you just need to solve a problem on your own, watch a nice series, succeed at a job interview, or keep a conversation going in the office kitchen. You want to be able to start a conversation in a pub or simply have a good laugh. In English.

As a language learner myself, I know the frustration of feeling like a different, more limited version of yourself in another language. I understand the gap between working in English and actually living in it. And I know exactly how good it feels when you can finally say exactly what you mean.

I believe:
  • Your English competence should go beyond explaining code architecture.
  • You deserve to feel as comfortable discussing your weekend plans as you do leading a sprint.
  • Language should be an upgrade to your life and a tool for linguistic liberation.

That’s why I launched EnglishBeyondCode—to help you communicate confidently, competently, naturally, and without limits.
What my clients say
  • Kate
    Senior QA Engineer

I have to speak English every day. I need to deepen my knowledge to feel more comfortable with my team. After I started working with Natalia, I noticed that I hear and understand more complicated words. My language has become more complex.

Previously, when I watched series or spoke with colleagues, I easily got the main sense. But now I can understand almost every word. Learning new words really helps me: I was really surprised that people around me use these words every day, and I didn't know them.

I can recommend Natalia as a professional. I usually don't like any lessons. I suffer through them. But every week, I'm looking forward to my English classes.”

  • Nikolai
Senior Concept Artist / Project Art Director

I need English for my job: all communications are in English, my colleagues and our clients are from different countries. Also, in my profession, English is an important skill because all software and literature are in English.

My level of English was not good, but also it was not so bad, I could use it for my daily needs. When working with Natalie, I realized that I needed to work on my pronunciation and in general, I realized the language can be easily pronounced and formulated.

Everything is really great, and now I feel more confident in several ways: I started using more complex words and sophisticated constructions, I improved my grammar and now, for example, can use conditional sentences more consciously, my thoughts can be formulated nicely. I like this aesthetic feeling of the language.

I would say that if you want to receive a refined language experience, you better call Natalie.”

  • Aleh
    Engineering Manager

“English is vital for my work. I was looking for someone with great pronunciation. After working with Natalia, I managed to improve my English in general and pronunciation in particular. Was able to solve most of the issues with pronunciation, actually. I was also able to jump from B1 to B2+ speaking and C1 writing. It was a great experience, lots of useful techniques, and now I'm using these techniques while learning Polish. To those who are considering working with Natalia—good choice and good luck.”

A little about me
I’ve been teaching English for more than 15 years and working with tech professionals like you for over a decade.

I’m an extroverted introvert, but when I teach, I’m in my element. I feel the energy of connection and the joy of sharing. I know I’m helping someone see the transformation they’re aiming for.

I knew I had a vocation for this. My choice was non-negotiable: I received my BA in linguistics and English teaching and then took Cambridge CELTA, a qualification for teaching English as a foreign language to adults. It wasn’t just a job for me; it was my passion and a craft I was determined to perfect.

I didn’t stop there. I moved to Barcelona to complete an MA in Advanced English Studies, with a specialisation in multiculturalism, which gave me the academic depth to understand not only how we speak but also how we connect across different cultures.

My career has been an exciting journey at every level of language learning. I began by lecturing at a linguistic university, and from there, I moved into the corporate tech sector, working as an in-house instructor for companies where English was the primary language of business.

In Barcelona, I broadened my experience as both a teacher and a teacher coordinator at a language academy. The privilege of working across different countries, with distinct age groups and proficiency levels, has helped me develop deep awareness of how people learn, grow, develop, and lead in a second language.

Then I thought to myself, “I have the qualifications, global experience, and a good understanding of the tech world. I can apply it all to help people bridge the gap between their technical skills and their human potential.”

And that is how EnglishBeyondCode started.

Fun facts:

🏘 I’m based in sunny Barcelona, which became my second home nearly 8 years ago.
🎹 I’m a music enthusiast (ready to talk about it for hours on end).
🗣 I'm a language nerd, and I love learning languages. Current challenge: Irish Gaelic (talk about linguistic liberation)!
🎱 In my free time you can find me dancing, playing pool, or getting in on a pub quiz.

Anyway, now you know more about me. I hope this helps you see me as a partner in your growth, rather than just a trainer.
