Corporate Training

Beyond technical English.

Communication training for tech teams.

EnglishBeyondCode is built on a simple idea:

English is the medium. Communication is the outcome.

Technical expertise matters. But expertise creates a greater impact when people can explain their thinking, adapt their message to different audiences, and contribute naturally to conversations across the business.

I provide personalised one-to-one and small-group communication training designed specifically for tech professionals. By focusing on the person behind the role, I help your teams strengthen the English and communication skills they need to do their best work.

This is more than language training. It's an investment in your people's ability to communicate, collaborate, and grow. It shows your people that you value their long-term development, not just their output.

The Cost of Miscommunication
Technical skills are only half the story. If your teams can't explain their reasoning to stakeholders, negotiate with clients, or collaborate with colleagues across departments and countries, they aren't reaching their full potential.

This training addresses specific challenges that technical teams face daily:
  • senior team members staying silent in global meetings because they don't yet have the language to contribute their ideas effectively;
  • roadblocks and delays caused by ambiguous requirements or misunderstood feedback;
  • experts appearing less experienced to clients or stakeholders simply because they cannot explain the reasoning behind their decisions.

Why invest in specialised training?
  • The programme begins with a thorough needs analysis to align our training targets with your specific business objectives.
  • We define clear outcomes at the start to ensure a measurable impact on your teams’ communication.

Business outcome: precision & efficiency

This isn’t a textbook-based course. It is a tailored programme to help your teams:

  • speed up decision-making and discussions by reducing the time spent searching for words in meetings and sprints;
  • explain complex technical logic in a way that stakeholders and clients actually understand;
  • communicate effectively in international environments and represent your brand with confidence on the global stage.

Beyond the workplace

Language is a tool for autonomy. When you invest in your team’s communication, you contribute to:

  • supporting communicators who can navigate multicultural environments and social settings with ease;
  • helping your teams stop feeling "restricted" by the language and start feeling proud of how they represent themselves;
  • providing high-level professionals with the tools to access global knowledge and grow their careers within your company.
Training Outcomes
I help your teams communicate their expertise with clarity, adapt their message to different audiences, and contribute more effectively across the business.

By the end of this programme, your team will be better equipped to:

  • move beyond "functional" English to build trust and stronger working relationships;
  • deliver constructive feedback, manage conflict, and influence outcomes with clarity and tact;
  • adapt their communication to technical and non-technical audiences;
  • solve daily workplace challenges, from sprint reviews to stakeholder presentations.

A note on our work together

  • While my approach is structured and focused on results, real progress depends on active participation.
  • Communication skills develop like any other professional skill: they require practice, reflection, and consistent effort. I provide the tools, guidance, and feedback; the team’s responsibility is to show up, put in the work, and apply what they learn.
  • It’s a collaboration after all; when both sides commit, the results are fast, practical, and lasting.

FAQs

1. How is this programme different from a standard English course?

This training is designed specifically for the tech sector and moves beyond generic textbooks to focus on the intersection of technical expertise and professional communication. Every session is built around real workplace scenarios, which means your team can implement what they learn in their next stand-up or client call.

2. Will the programme disrupt my team's core work?

No. The training is built to be time-efficient with practical sessions that fit into busy schedules. We adapt to your team's sprint cycles and use a "flipped" approach (where the 55-minute sessions are saved for active practice), thus strengthening communication skills without compromising productivity.

3. What is the measurable benefit for the company?

Better communication leads to smoother collaboration, clearer decisions, and more effective conversations across teams. When your experts can finally say what they mean, they feel more valued and stay longer. It helps your technical team represent your brand with competence, clarity, and ease.

4. Is there a way to test the training before a long-term commitment?

Yes. We begin with a one-month pilot to evaluate the progress. This initial month is paid in advance and is non-refundable. At the end of the pilot, if you see the training isn't the right fit for your team, you are free to stop with no further obligations. If you choose to continue, we then move into a standard service agreement with a minimum commitment of 3 months to ensure sustainable, long-term results.
